Michael Birch

Michael Birch is a highly experienced lawyer with more than 35 years’ experience in private legal practice before joining Finn Roache Lawyers. Throughout his career, Michael has advised individuals, businesses and property owners across a broad range of legal matters, with a particular focus on commercial and property-related disputes.

Michael’s areas of practice include Building & Construction Law, Civil Litigation, Commercial Contracts, Commercial Litigation, Domestic and Commercial Conveyancing, Probate and Mediation. He provides clear, commercially focused advice and strategic representation across complex transactions and disputes.

Michael takes a considered approach to each matter, taking the time to understand his clients’ objectives and provide practical advice tailored to their circumstances. His broad experience across both contentious and transactional matters enables him to identify issues early and develop effective strategies to protect his clients’ interests.

Michael completed his Master of Laws (Applied Law) in 2018, further enhancing his knowledge and expertise across his areas of practice.
